【Submission Box】How to Correct and Return Responses
Teachers can correct student submissions in the Submission Box using handwriting, text, or stamps, and return the results to students.

1 Open a student submission and tap the Pen tool to correct

Text
You can add a card from the menu in the top-left corner or by double-clicking (clicking) anywhere, then use text to correct and provide feedback.

Note
Text correction is available for Submission Boxes created in the following versions:
iPad / iPhone: Version 51 or later
Windows / Chromebook: Version 7.3 or later

To access full functionality, please update to the latest version.
Stamps
1 Open a student submission and tap Pen → Stamp to correct

Share Marks Immediately to Students
When "Share Marks Immediately" is set to "OFF", students will not be able to view corrections until the teacher taps "Send Back".

Teachers can still review corrections before returning them.
For older app versions for students, corrections may still be visible before returning, even if this setting is turned OFF.
The default setting for "Share Marks Immediately" is ON for Submission Boxes created in the following versions:
iPad / iPhone: Version 27 or earlier
Windows / Chromebook: Web version 5.10.1 or earlier

Students View Feedback
Once returned, students will receive a notification and can view the feedback in the Submission Box.
In iPad version 7.0 and Web version 4.9 or later, returned feedback is shown in the Submission Box and no longer appears in the "Send" timeline history.
